The total investment of the 10 million tons/year steel project in Huoqiu is expected to be 30 billion yuan. There are three phases of construction and production, namely 3 million tons in phase I, 3.5 million tons in phase ii and 3.3 million tons in phase iii. The main construction contents include main processes such as mining, sintering, pelletizing, coking, iron making, steel making and rolling, and auxiliary facilities such as power supply and distribution, comprehensive pipe network, etc. In the first half of 2019, coking, sintering, rolling, ironmaking, steelmaking and other processes can be put into production. The project will be fully operational by the end of July 2019.
